The following is from Arthur, a great cranky old fart of a guitarist who toured with Tom Waits and failed an audition with Neil Diamond. When he got Neil's charts he said to himself' I can fix this' and proceeded to change the chords with substitutions and extensions, ya know, jazz. Neil said 'who the hell did this?' and threw him out. A compliment from Arthur is the equivalent of a double platinum Grammy, you should be honored, he's a perfectionist.
